On June 22, the launching ceremony of the BAOTN Tribology Intelligent Lubrication Laboratory Launching Ceremony and Lubrication Technology Academic conference
were grandly held in the International Conference Hall of CIMC Valley, Songshan Lake, Dongguan. BAOTN and South China University of Technology have jointly carried out project cooperation and research on solving friction and lubrication problems. In the early stage, 5 million has been invested to establish a laboratory, which is about to be put into use. Taking this as an opportunity, an academic exchange meeting on lubrication technology held on Jun 22.
The meeting invited Hu Jin, full-time deputy secretary of the southern area of Songshan Lake High-tech Zone, Lai Guoqiang, deputy director of the Economic Development Section of the Industrial Development Bureau of Songshan Lake Management Committee, Ms. Huang Bingyuan, general manager of CIMC Valley Project, Professor Huang Ping, Professor Xie Xiaopeng of South China University of Technology, and their colleagues and so on.

After the launching ceremony , Professor Xie Xiaopeng, the science and technology commissioner of Guangdong Province and professor of South China University of Technology, was invited to host the academic conference on lubrication technology
First of all, Professor Huang Ping, doctoral tutor of South China University of Technology, director of the International Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center of Mechanical Fundamentals of South China University of Technology, and author of “Principles of Tribology” and “Numerical Calculation Methods of Lubrication”, introduced “The Causes and Analysis of Lubrication Failure”
The second is Huang Heng, who set up the Guangzhou Branch of the National Engineering Center for Sensors, which has rich experience in monitoring the lubrication and wear condition of mechanical equipment and lubrication safety management. Author of the industry book “Experimental Research on Lubricating Oil for Auto Parts”, introduced “Research and Application of Oil Online Detection and Sensing Technology for Equipment Lubrication Safety Digitalization”
Dr. Zhang Wenliang, who has in-depth research on oil and air lubrication, introduced the “Application and Research of Oil and Air Lubrication System in the Field of High-speed Machinery and Equipment”
Lubrication researcher Ai Lixiati: Introducing “Research and Development of High-Performance Grease Lubricated pumps”
Gao Guogang, Technical Director of BAOTN, introduced the “BAOTN Lubrication Technology and Development Plan”
At the meeting, various professionals and technical staffs of BAOTN had friendly exchanges, combined production, education and research, and enthusiastically discussed related issues.

Up to now, BAOTN has been established for 16 years. Our products are used in precision equipment manufacturing, construction machinery, wind power generation, photovoltaics, new energy vehicles and other industries. In the design and production of industrial machinery, on the one hand, tribology is very important for modern machinery composed of sliding and rolling surfaces. On the other hand, the lack of tribological knowledge has caused huge economic losses in the application process. Therefore, the importance of reducing friction and controlling wear cannot be underestimated from an economic and reliability standpoint. Under the background of the country’s strong support for core technology research, BAOTN actively responds to the requirements of market customers, and cooperates with South China University of Technology to carry out project cooperation and research on solving friction and lubrication problems, and jointly build the BAOTN Tribology Intelligent Lubrication Laboratory. The laboratory also closely follows the theme of the times, and will join hands with CIMC Valley to sign a joint shared instrument service station, gradually opening the laboratory to the society for tribology-related enterprises to carry out joint exchanges and experiments.
In the future, BAOTN will continue to in-depth research on lubrication theory and technology, and develop a lubrication system that is more suitable for the market, so as to better solve the problem of mechanical equipment wear and tear for customers and bring greater value to customers.
